This pump utilizes an external cooler to enable automatic gas circulation for cooling the rotors and pump body.It can operate continuously under high pressure differentials without thermal overload and is capable of direct exhaust to atmosphere. The pump retains numerous advantages of conventional Roots vacuum pumps.It can be operated either in series with a backing pump or as a standalone unit. When used independently, the pump can be cooled directly by atmospheric backflow without an external cooler.Large-capacity models can achieve an ultimate pressure of approximately 130 hPa. When used in combination with identical pumps or standard Roots vacuum pumps, the unit fully exploits the oil-vapor--free characteristic of Roots pumps, ensuring no oil contamination to the evacuated system. This pump can also be integrated into a vacuum system in series with liquid ring pumps, piston pumps, rotary plunger pumps and other backing pumps, delivering high pumping speeds close to the main pump’s rated capacity in the high-pressure region.Such combinations can achieve various vacuum levels ranging from from 100000 Pa down to 0.01 Pa. Owing to the above characteristics, this pump is widely used in rapid evacuation applications requiring high pumping speed at moderate ultimate pressure,as well as in applications demanding clean, oil-free vacuum conditions.
